I had a very bitter experience with bybit in June 2024. did P2P transaction on the app with Mmp global enterprises. I did a bank transfer of 150k for 104 usdt , as I return to click I have made payment, the page went off requiring me to re login. very new to the app I was struggling with locating the transaction and support page was not accessible. i eventually got my appeal lodged but at the end of it all case was closed against me, I lost my naira and the usdt I paid for. every effort failed.

ByBit Customer service is very poor. My user ID: 557094885, order number: EXC2054936439673966592 for fiat deposit of AED 49k done on 14 May, 2026 is not credited or returned even after 9 days. On writing multiple emails no proper response received just informs matter with concern department, even customer support agents Jerimiah and Sully , assured resolution by 24 hours, but even after 3 days no update. All additional documents requested were submitted but till date no updates from ByBit. Due to amount involved my trading is impacted but ByBit does not care about customers. I still don't have amny information on where is my money.

Completely unacceptable and unsafe P2P experience. I was scammed by seller khawja2025 (Tahir Altaf). I paid for USDT and submitted all proofs, yet the seller neither released crypto nor refunded my money. Instead, they keep delaying by asking the same proofs again and again. The seller has provided zero proof, but the platform still keeps asking them and wasting time. No action, no accountability. My funds are stuck and dispute unresolved. This platform fails to protect users.

bybit is fraudulent app that doesn't care about it users. I only cares about the P2P merchant. a merchant scammed me and bybit released my money to the scammer . this is why I use spenda everyone on bybit asks for additional payments or they scam you. this person is on of their ( merchant name: M_D😎⚡ please do not use bybit unless you want to be scammed

Account banned with no explanation - 15 days of frozen funds
I’ve been using Bybit for years. On May 6, my account, UID 165111382, was permanently banned and withdrawals were blocked without any warning. Around $15,000 was frozen overnight. The worse part is that there is no transparency. Inside the Support Hub, the restriction reason was just shown as “-”. No explanation at all. Customer support told me it was an AML review. The official compliance email called it a periodic review. The account closure notice gave no reason at all. So I had three different channels giving three different versions, and none of them actually explained what happened. Nobody told me what triggered the review. Nobody asked me for documents. Nobody accused me of anything. Then, after 15 days, I received an email saying I could withdraw my assets within 120 hours and that my account would be closed. No explanation of what was found. No explanation of why the account was being closed. No explanation of why my funds had been frozen in the first place. To be fair, the support agents were polite and replied quickly. Some of them seemed genuinely empathetic. But they clearly had no power. They couldn’t see the compliance case, couldn’t speed anything up, and couldn’t tell me anything useful. So the replies were fast, but they did not solve anything. I’m relieved that I eventually got my money back. But getting your funds back after they were frozen without a clear reason does not make this a good experience. What bothers me most is that I was never asked to provide a single document, which makes it feel like nothing serious was found. Yet the account was still closed with no explanation. I don’t understand how a platform can freeze a verified user’s account for 15 days, give no clear reason, ask for no documents, and then close the account anyway. That does not feel like proper compliance. It feels like complete control with no accountability. The lesson for me is simple: once your money is on a centralized exchange, it is not yours. It is held by the platform, and they can block access with no clear timeline, no appeal, and no real explanation. I’m sad to leave Bybit because I genuinely liked the platform.
