Look closely at other recent reviews. There’s no explanation from Bybit, just unjustified actions against users’ accounts. Consider this review your first warning. $40,000 was stolen

My account was blocked. I can log in, but I can't do anything—no trading, no withdrawals. My deposit hasn't even arrived. Support isn't saying anything clear. One support agent said they were checking for an old deposit of $339 from over a year ago, while another said it was for a suspicious withdrawal. They haven't requested any documents and haven't given any timeframes. Currently, I'm just watching my balance decrease because I can't sell the coins I bought earlier. My balance was $40,000 when I was blocked, and now it's $35,000. I believe this is fraud on the exchange's part, and it looks like they're not going to refund my funds. Bybit is a scam exchange. They froze my funds more than a month ago and I still haven't gotten any clarification or response from them. They simply ignore my messages, their customer support is very rude. Don't use this exchange unless you don't care about your funds. They will be stolen by these scammers

Long-term blocking of withdrawals without a valid reason

I am writing an official review about the Bybit platform. More than 5 months ago, my withdrawal was blocked. In response to my request, I was informed that I needed to provide supporting documents, which I promptly submitted in full. Despite this, the issue has not been resolved. There have been no new requests from the support team, and the status of my ticket (ID: 23286492) remains unchanged. There are no clear deadlines for resolving the issue or any explanation for the delay. This treatment of customers is seriously disappointing and undermines the platform's credibility. I demand that the situation be resolved immediately and that the withdrawal be unblocked.

I’ve got it all in writing and may take this to a higher level

I invested one day receiving my refund then day two they we had trouble getting the refund so I left it there. Day three comes along, and mind you I am supposed to be paid 200 a day with successful refunds and deposits, and I am told that I needed to deposit one more time and I should select a 0 plan so I could refund. Well there was not a zero plan and was told I needed to deposit 900 more which I told them earlier I did not have, and I was then told I would have to forfeit my deposit and my 200 a day pay if I did not. Now I should have known better but I went on their word they wouldn’t let me down so. I guess if I don’t have it in 3 days I lose it all. Beware!

My Bybit account was suddenly banned…

My Bybit account was suddenly banned for 43 days without any meaningful explanation. During this period, I had very limited communication from support and no clear information about what issue was being investigated or how long the restriction would last. After more than six weeks, I finally received an email from the Bybit compliance department instructing me to remove all of my funds from the platform. However, no explanation or justification for the account restriction was provided. The email stated that I had only 120 hours to withdraw my assets and that the account would then be permanently deleted, with no further communication regarding the matter. I understand that exchanges must follow compliance and risk-management procedures, but I found the complete lack of transparency unusual and concerning. As a customer, I expected at least a basic explanation of the reason for the restriction, especially after such a long period of account suspension. The experience significantly reduced my confidence in the platform and its customer communication practices. I would advise other users to carefully consider the risks of keeping funds on centralized exchanges if account actions can occur without clear explanations.

I have been a verified P2P merchant on…

I have been a verified P2P merchant on Bybit with a strong trading history and regular clients. Recently, my account was placed under AML/compliance review under Appeal ID: AS-896361-fd1aa10fb91b4bfbb0792f1bb699bdc3 because of historical P2P transactions conducted in 2024. Bybit UID: 118011169 The first three transactions received in July 2024 were linked to the following TRC20 address: TR5F41LPNNkwud1GzEtETV68Jb9iet3Riu The later August 2024 transaction, which had previously triggered an earlier compliance review, was linked to: TQuFSvpct2FeBrKjRh8NDqtGAci2Z15RSa All transactions were conducted with the same repeat trader whom I originally met directly through Bybit P2P itself. After multiple successful trades on the platform, we later continued some OTC/P2P transactions through WhatsApp communication. I have already submitted detailed explanations, payment proofs, WhatsApp chats, transaction hashes, wallet screenshots, employment verification details, and supporting records to the Compliance Team. What has been frustrating is the long review timeline and limited communication despite full cooperation from my side. As a verified P2P merchant, the restrictions have significantly impacted my trading activity and business operations because I am currently unable to use my account normally or post ads. I completely understand the importance of AML and compliance procedures, but I sincerely hope genuine users who fully cooperate and provide complete documentation are reviewed fairly and transparently. At the moment, my case is still under review, and I genuinely hope the matter gets resolved fairly and my account access is restored.
